The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is one of the most celebrated Marian feast in the world. The apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lourdes is one of the apparitions approved by the Catholic Church.
On February 11, 1858, a young lady appeared to Bernadette Soubirous, identifying herself as the “Immaculate Conception.” Appearing to the young Bernadette in a pure white gown and mantle, with an azure blue girdle 18 times during that year, Mary called on people to personal conversion, prayer, and charity.
